Mrs. Reena Seedhari recently achieved a significant goal in her research career. She became interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) after encountering it in her master’s program. In 2022, she started an online STEM education PhD, while still working as an educator at our high school.
Because of her perseverance, Mrs. Seedhari’s research earned acceptance for presentation at the ESERA International Conference in August 2025. ESERA (European Science Education Research Association) is a renowned organization focused on improving science education through research, and it hosts a biennial event for over 1,700 international attendees.
The focus of her project is on STEM classroom communication and student collaboration. Specifically, researching methods to help students’ learning in group settings. Mrs Seedhari made an enormous effort for this presentation, including many hours beyond her regular work schedule to meet steep international standards.
Mrs. Seedhari’s work with ESERA highlights her STEM dedication and provides valuable insights to help our school develop. Staying connected to research through this experience betters our teaching practices, thus benefiting our students.
Mrs Seedhari is a much-valued member of our staff, and her passion for STEM has introduced many new opportunities for our students. We are grateful to assist staff research that reflects our dedication to quality education and constant progress.
