Champion Chelsea to Compete on the World Stage

Year 8 Student Chelsea Clark Reaches New Heights in Cheerleading

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding success of Chelsea Clark (Year 8), who recently achieved exceptional results at the AASCF State Cheerleading Championships while competing with NextGen Cheer & Dance.

Chelsea competed in two divisions, Junior Level 2 and Senior Level 3, showcasing her talent, determination and teamwork on the state stage.

Her Senior Level 3 team, Killer Queens, delivered a fantastic performance to claim 2nd place and earn the title of Grand Champions (Extra Small Gym). Adding to an already impressive day, Chelsea’s Junior Level 2 team, Xplosions, secured 1st place, were crowned Grand Champions, and received an invitation to compete on the world stage in Hawaii.

These remarkable achievements reflect years of dedication and hard work. Chelsea began her cheerleading journey in 2017 and now trains an impressive 10 hours each week across four training sessions. Her commitment, resilience and passion for the sport have contributed to her success and serve as an inspiration to others.

At our school, we are committed to celebrating student achievement in all its forms. Whether students are excelling in the classroom, on the sporting field, on the stage, or pursuing passions within the wider community, we believe every success deserves recognition. Chelsea’s accomplishments demonstrate the value of perseverance, goal-setting and pursuing excellence beyond the school gates.

We congratulate Chelsea on her outstanding performance and wish her and her teammates every success as they prepare for their exciting opportunity to compete in Hawaii.
