Congratulations to Josie Marston
Our 2024 Head Girl, Josie Marston (right), has been awarded the Young Community Citizen of the Year Award for the Harvey Region. This achievement recognised many years of volunteering at the Brunswick Junction Community Resource Centre. Notably, Josie managed this work with her ATAR studies, receiving an outstanding result of 97.1.
During her time volunteering, she not only led the afterschool children’s club but also edited the community newspaper. As a result of her dedication and service, the community nominated her for the Community Citizen of the Year Award.
On Australia Day 2025, the awards ceremony honoured Josie among exemplary citizens from the region for her outstanding community service.
Looking ahead, in 2025, Josie will begin her tertiary studies at the University of WA. She is excited to have received two prestigious scholarships to assist with her tuition and accommodation at St Catherine’s College.
We are immensely proud of Josie’s achievements both in school and in her contributions to the community.
