Dress Code

DRESS CODE

Our aim in stipulating the following dress requirements are to make our students look and feel proud of themselves and their school. It is the responsibility of the parents to see that students have the necessary uniform.


Hair
Girls – long hair must be tied back and fringe should be neat at or above eyebrow line. Hair bands and clips to be navy blue, white or maroon. Boys must have their hair cut away from their ears and collar. No radical hairstyles or colouring.

Jewellery
A watch, one small hand ring, and one set of studs of sleeper earrings are acceptable. The earrings must be worn in the earlobe. Earrings are for girls only. No facial piercings.

Make-up
No make-up. Fingernail polish to be clear or very pale in colour.

Hats
Hats to be worn by all students when outdoors all school year. Hope uniform hats to be worn by all students.

Shoes
• Standard shoe is black leather dress shoe.
• Summer sandals are allowed, however, they have to buckle or tie on the foot. No thongs or slide on shoes.
• Girls – heel a maximum of 5cm. Shoes to be worn with navy socks – girls may also wear navy, black or natural stockings. Sports socks must be navy. Shoes are to be worn at all times.

Sports Uniform
Maroon polo shirt and navy bottom (skirts, pants, shorts, track pants etc.). However, all shorts, or skirts must be no shorter than ten centimetres above the knee. Track pants may be worn during winter months. The school supplies all sport uniforms. A suitable sport shoe is to be worn.
